Hi everyone!
It's time for another newsletter! I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. Have you noticed the change in the air, lately? I sense among believers an air of expectancy. Things are changing, and preparation is being made. The end is very near, and Jesus is coming VERY soon! Are you ready? Are you helping others to be ready? I hope so. It's something I've been thinking about and praying about and doing, lately!
I would especially like to welcome the new additions to my email list that I added, recently. Some are seminar attendees, and some are friends or family. In the last newsletter I told you that I had presented a seminar in Brooklyn and had another planned for June, at New York Conference's campmeeting. I have now presented that seminar as well, and it was a lot of fun!
There were approximately 25-30 people in attendance, total, between the two seminars (I presented one in the mornings, and one in the afternoons for 5 days). Also, some people came to me outside of class and asked about it, and I gave mini-tutorials. There are a couple more seminars in the works as a result of the people I met that week who are interested in seminars at their churches! Praise God!
Also, not directly related to this ministry, I've gone to a ShareHim boot camp to train to do evangelistic preaching. That was fun! And my church has asked me to do a seminar here in Geneva in November. This is a regular Prophecy seminar and not directly related to the internet. It will be a week long with two topics a night. Sounds really fun!
I've been handing out books in the community, here, for 2 years, now. Hopefully some of that seed-planting will come in handy with this harvest event! Please keep us in your prayers.
My church is also planting a Spanish/Multi-cultural church in Geneva (about 7 miles from the mother church). While I'm not directly involved in that, I am doing some things to help out. It's a really important effort as many of you who have been involved in church planting will agree! Please pray for them as they do this important ministry for God's kingdom!
Certainly no newsletter would be complete without a story. Let me tell you about an individual I met, recently, online. He was puzzled by the behavior of some of the Christians in the Christian chatroom, and when I talked to him, privately, it was apparent that he was really close with Jesus! He had, of his own volition, become concerned about last-day events, and was convinced we are in the time of the end. However, he's a new Christian, and has very little biblical knowledge.
We talked quite a bit about Jesus, and a relationship with Him, and how that has changed both our lives! He was especially interested in studying the bible more about bible prophecy, so I showed him the Amazing Facts website. He was quite enthusiastic about learning more, and thanked me for the resources. Please pray for him that he will find the answers he seeks, and remembers the importance of Bible knowledge in these end times when the strong delusion will deceive many that don't know God and His character through scripture.
