Please Jesus, give me one more heart for you!
My prayer for ministry was answered. Hearts opened up all around me, and my life was changed. In college, people asked me what was my "calling." I didn't know, I just wanted to work for God. Now I know. What is your calling? Could it be online outreach? There are millions of hearts in unreached and unreachable places all over the world that are online asking questions. Will you be the one to answer?
Welcome to the One More Heart Ministry Website!
One More Heart Ministry is a personal approach to online ministry. Similar to friendship evangelism, this form of ministry involves contact with individual persons, online, around the world, and the relationships and outreach that result.
In Christ's ministry, He could have waved His hand over the entire crowd at the Pool of Bethesda, and healed them all. But He did not choose to work in this way. Instead, He went quietly in, and spoke to one man, and changed his life forever. He could have walked into a Samaritan town and wowed them with his charismatic speaking skills, and taught them many amazing things. Instead He sat down by the well, and talked to an outcast woman who had made a habit of sneaking to the well when nobody else was around. He made a friend of her, and then she shared her amazement with the town, and they all wanted to know more.
In the same way, the outreach done by this ministry is on an individual basis. While large public outreach is also an important part of ministry, this ministry is focused on individual, one on one contacts. How does one do this online? What techniques are most effective in this kind of outreach? What can I do to turn my internet entertainment into ministry?
